  • "Only three short weeks after learning to ride, I attended and rode in my very first track day at Blackhawk Farms ( <a href="http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/content/homepage.cfm">http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/content/homepage.cfm</a> ) this past Wednesday along with about 30 other Chicago Vintage Motorcyclists. We had a special class all our own that was only open to vintage motorcycles.  Pictured is my 1973 Honda cb350.  It couldn't have been a better day for me...the weather was perfect with upper 70 degree temps, not a cloud in the sky, and I had an amazing group of riders cheering me on and re-assuring me throughout the day. This picture was taken on the way home after a long and rewarding day of riding, adventure, camaraderie, and a new love for motorcycling. I think other riders will relate to the feeling of looking out the car window at your bike as the sun sets on a great day of riding." - Melissa Lynn Mangan of Chicago.
