  • "I am submitting these photos of my 2005 BMW GS 1200 that I made a bike rack for. I mount my mountain bike on my GS so I can go mountain bike riding during peak traffic times in the LA area. 'Ride to ride.' And when I'm done, the rack comes off quickly as I've mounted it with quick release pins. This rig gets lots of looks as I lane split in the Los Angeles traffic. It rides very stable,( the bike only weights 24 pounds), and does not extend any wider the the motorcycle. There's no limits to what's cool about motorcycling, keeping it safe is always No. 1." - Allen Robinson of Agoura Hills, Calif.

  • "My dad raised us riding dirt bikes starting in 1st grade back in 1972. I was so into motorcycles and being "Daddy's tough little rider" that I even wore my "Do it in the Dirt" shirt for school photos when I was 10 years old. I counted the years waiting until I could RACE in AMA D-37 events. In 1982, I finally rode my first D-37 AMA Hare & Hound. By 1983, I got my red stripe, turning expert. <br />
Now at 43, I sold my dirt bike two years ago, but still ride my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 1500cc. And I'll always love AMA events and the camaraderie of hanging around the campfire in The Dez! Thanks for taking me down memory lane!" - Denise Shur of San Jose, Calif.

  • "So heres a little background to these pictures... I live in El Dorado Hills, California and we RARELY see anything other than sunshine and rain. And when we do, it is a huge deal around here. So while some may see snow and dread the thought of digging out the driveway, we welcome it! Crazy, right? We got about 6 inches of snow, so I took the opportunity to snap a few photo's of my bike and I :)" - Pat Baldassari of El Dorado Hills, Calif.
